Fermilab explores the universe at the smallest and largest scales in order to study the fundamental particles and forces that govern everything that exists. Scientists and engineers at Fermilab use state of the art technology, engineering and machine learning tools to help gain a better understanding of the universe. This panel will discuss the various career paths at Fermilab, including engineering and physics.
Panelists will discuss triumphs and tribulations on their path to working and doing research at Fermilab, the importance of raising awareness about the lack of representation in STEM and the various ways the panelists use their platforms to increase equity, diversity and inclusion in the STEM field.
