Back by popular demand, Seven Gunn will use the panel to showcase what black film critics do and what they represent. Black Film Critics in Chicagoland wants to explain choices for various mediums and platforms to display critiques/reviews, individual and group criteria for defining outstanding/unique artwork, recognizing trends in popular culture and film, building relationships with press, becoming an ambassador for black films and perspectives.
