What kind of future do you want to live in? This panel of academics, activists and fans will address how creating and consuming speculative media, especially that created by and focused on marginalized people, can help us imaging more inclusive and just futures—futures where people of color, queer people, disabled people, women, trans, and gender non-binary people not only exist, but thrive as leaders, artists, inventors, and more. The panel will consider how Black Panther and other diverse speculative media can be used in educational and activist spaces to encourage us to imagine inclusive futures for all.
